Día de Muertos, 1st-2nd November 2022
During my trip to Mexico in November-December 2022, I was lucky to visit the Panteón in Tzintzuntzan. The cemetery. Día de Muertos had just been celebrated on 1st-2nd November 2022 and the remains were clearly left to be seen. It was incredible! Only once a year do they tidy up and a few days later, re-decorate with fresh marigold flowers, creating altars for the beloved deceased. Their lives are celebrated. I had a short time to capture the scenes. Below is an impression of what I saw.
